Our Secret Paws!!!

Our Secret Paws arrived actually a while ago - but I was so busy with CCSI that I postponed posting about it...
We got a wonderful package from Zippy, Princess Zipporah!

Emil and I are bringing out the package and then Emil and Mrs. OZ opened it and found all these wonderful things!

Temptations in THREE different flavors! Gourmet food. Great toys. And HOMEGROWN CATNIP!
The maid took that away and said something like "rationing"...
Then Emil really got into the fish on the string toy. I am just supervising, I am a famous and successful writer, I don't do such silly behavior....

In the back you can see Anastasia's 'box of life' - I will post about that this weekend.
While Emil plays and I supervise, Mrs. OZ guards the rest of our secret paws treasure!

Happy Birthday Maid!!!

Our maid has gone to New York to celebrate her birthday, which is today. I heard at Miss Peach's tea party that Caesar and Princess Mom's birthday is today too! The maid will actually meet Asta, one of our actors/graphic designers in the next CCSI episode, in New York!!!
Meanwhile back at the ranch we have the house to ourselves!!! So I invited my boyfriend Ruis over for some days and today we will celebrate the maid's birthday with a big PARTY of our own!!!
Anybody who wants to join: there is plenty of food, we have the whole fridge for ourselves, and of course plenty of niptini..... hahahahahahahahahaha
Let's party!

Thursday Thirteen: Excuses

Thirteen excuses why I am not visiting other cats right now:

1. CCSI - I had to do re-writes.
2. CCSI - I am working on sets.
3. CCSI - I am working on costumes.
4. CCSI - I have more than a dozen emails every day and as soon as I answer one there are two more!
5. CCSI - I have new ideas that I have to write down.
6. CCSI - I get distracted by Ruis when we are together at the set....
7. CCSI - We have a black hole that swallows emails and creates time consuming confusion.
8. CCSI - I am working on some more sets.
9. CCSI - I am working on some more costumes.
10. CCSI - I have some more new ideas that I have to write down.
11. CCSI - I have to think about my Oscar acceptance speech.
12. CCSI - I got niptinied at Marilyn's party and lost time due to a hangover. I drank the niptinies to calm down from CCSI production!
13. The Maid - my typist will abandon me for five days to celebrate her birthday in New York.

And yes, those are really just excuses because nothing should be more important than visiting your friends! I hope our show - airing in four parts, starting December 14 - will make up for it.
And to tell you the truth: it is a whole lot of fun to be part of the production! I love it!!!

My deepest apologies to everybody for not visiting at the moment. I had NO idea how busy one can get during production of a new CCSI episode!!! Above a sneak peak at the reindeer during rehearsal. Everybody is so professional and talented and hard working, it is a pleasure!

And my sweet boyfriend Ruis is directing. He is sooooo good! And the sweetest cat I ever met, purr purr purr.........
And then there are Opus and Roscoe! What a team. Not only did they write the first extraordinary episode of CCSI, they also do graphic design, are co-producing, and act!
And Asta, Daisy and Zoolatry are all helping with the graphics!

O.k. I'm going. To the CCSI premiere, that is. After having to endure Karl these last few days the least he can do is take me! What do you think of this gown? I hope the show airs soon - I do not know how much longer Emil and I can deal with "Mr. Writer Karl'...

MAIL!

What a wonderful day yesterday was. After I woke up from my hang over that is. It was my sweet Ruis birthday. And all 22 parts for the second CCSI episode were filled. And the butler gave me chicken and beef. And the mailman brought us MAIL!!!! There was a big envelope all the way from TAIWAN from our dear friend Adan!!!

He and his human Michico are just the best! We got the wonderful postcard of cute Adan and the most beautiful piece of artwork: "...made for Anastasia and Karl. Michico just finished few days ago, the postcard of my hasn't send to her yet. Because Karl said we could take our time. The reason we are late because michico is making this. We both wish Anastasia would be happy at that side of rainbow bridge."

Thank you sooooo much Adan and Michico, that was the most wonderful present ever!

And we also got our calendar from the Cat Blogosphere!!! It was a beautiful Monday.

Announcement and Seven Things Meme

Sassy accepted my script for a CCSI Holiday Mystery!!!! I am SO excited - I won't tell more until she posts about it....
And Opus and Roscoe, the FABULOUS writers of the last CCSI story tagged me for this meme a while ago. I am supposed to write seven things you might not know about me. That will not be easy as I think I 'spilled' all about me at one time or another....

1. I prefer 5 day old food served in a dish somewhere in the garden over fresh food served in the house.

2. I take either the maid or the butler for a walk around the house every morning. Sometimes I walk them both, one after the other. They follow without the need of a leash!

3. I talk very loudly when I wrestle with Edgar. I did so with Anastasia too.

4. I love to use the pile of potting soil outside the butler's front door as a litter box. I still refuse to use any litter box inside.

5. I like attacking grass bushels and then play with them.

6. I sometimes hide in the ground covering bush in the back garden and wait for someone to come by, cat or human doesn't matter, to attack them. If no one comes by I scream, I mean, call for them.

7. I sleep about at least 12 uninterrupted hours every night.

This is Emil! Karl allowed me to post today because it was of me, in a way, that we got the "You Make Me Smile Award" from Baby Mao! I'd rather not go into the details of how that came to be - let's just say it seems that Baby Mao and I share a similar affliction... Thank you Baby Mao for giving us this award!Karl also allowed ME to chose who we will give this award to!!! I am so excited!
I chose:
Clover, because she is a youngster like me, and grows as fast as I do, and she is so cute you have to smile when you just see her.
Jack, because I laugh when I read his blog and I liked it how he dressed up his crazy humans!
Russell, because I feel a connection there... It makes me smile to see how he wiggles his way into a household. Just like I do here!
Yao-Lin, because maybe then he will be nicer to Baby Mao. And he makes the maid fall of her chair a lot, laughing. Which makes me laugh!

On another note: I am very honored to be featured as Cat of the Day - but I have to say that Karl submitted my profile without neither my knowledge nor my consent...
What does he mean by "She is not a companion cat"? I just don't jump in there, I need to know who I am dealing with. And about the hissing.... Wouldn't you hiss if you have 5 pounds of kitty land on your back out of the blue all day long?
I do have to say I got better. I think I may start liking them actually....

Karl: I go between the legs of my staff and roll over and rub all against them and give their ankles little love bites and look at them adoringly. And purr loudly. Which I don't do a lot, my purring usually is very silent.

Mrs. OZ: I am new and I only do this today for Miss Peach! I go and sit on the human's chest and put my paws left and right of their neck and purr.

Emil: I touch them with just one paw, very softly and give them the look! The one that lets them melt like butter! Hahahahahahaha - I am GOOD!
