Fierce Competition!

The Squillion Contest by jeter harris is coming to an end tonight.
It was a fierce competition and there are still a few hours left for some more entries...
Many cats made their cases for the wonderful prices and only the fact that us cats as members of the family Felidae are so much more evolved than members of the Primate family (where the beans would be in) saved us from something like pictured above!
We can't wait to see how the judges decide!!!!

WCB: Secret Paws, finally!

What happened is this: The maid vanished some time ago and with her our P.O.Box key vanished too! And the butler didn't have a spare... A couple of days ago the maid reappeared and we had access to our P.O.Box again and so we finally did get our Secret Paws!
And what Secret Paws they are! We feel overwhelmed and humbled. When we entered the Secret Paw thing we had just started blogging and we had no idea really what kind of a wonderful community we had found!
Just look at this: we got ORANGE toys, lots of them! And GLASSES! One pair red, one pair yellow. And a toy lizard on a string! But best of all, we FINALLY got Temptations! While we were wondering all this time what they were and how they taste... there was a package in our P.O.Box all along!
That was the first thing I did: nibble up some of the Temptations! They taste GOOD!!!!Next thing we tried on our new glasses, I think we look very splendid in them:Then we nibbled a bit more, and played some with the orange toys (Anastasia) and the lizard (me) and now we want to thank pour Secret Paw Caesar from the bottom of our hearts!

OUR FURRST BLOGOVERSARY!!!

YAYYYYY!!!!! we haf been blogging furr eggsakkly one year today July 20th. We just wish we could be here wiv all of yoo, but as yoo know the Beans have made us purrizziners. We told them to change their Holly Day dates but they wouldn't take enny notiss of us.

This is one of the pikchurs out of the furry furrst batch we postid.

We didn't know back then just how many new furrends we were going to make. Well we haf to say what a pleasure it has been to meet yoo all, and we hope we haf many more happy years wiv yoo.

Our friend Dicky is traveling again!
We received this video from him. And he still hasn´t figured out how to add the sound...
He had gone to Germany to visit the documenta 12.

WCB - The Snake Stole The Rabbit!

Can you believe it! I had caught a rabbit, and after nibbling a bit I left the rest for later.
And the big bad snake came by and stole it!!!
Good thing Anastasia is at the races in Ascot - she tries to play with these snakes because she thinks the rattle is a toy! Gave the maid an almost heart attack several times already!
I will restrict myself to raw beef, shrimp, butter and croissants for the rest of the weekend.
The butler said - after seeing the crime - he will provide!

Please click on the purple box "fund food for animals" in the sidebar, go to their site, click for free and install the button if you didn´t do it yet. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising.
