Apologies and Awards

We would like to apologize for not visiting a lot these days. We wish we could just blame it ALL on the help who is overly busy with their own affairs and don't give us much computer time - but we ARE a bit lazy ourselves...

It's the season, as desert dwellers we always have a hard time with the 30plus night temperatures and the below lizard day temperatures... We do hope to pull ourselves together soon and visit all of you to catch up on what you are doing. Out there in the REAL winter, hahahahahahahahaha!

We did get two awards that we haven't posted about yet!

Another Award

Today we were making our rounds to personally extend our gratitude to all of you who participated in Emil's wake. And we realized that in our grieve and sorrow it slipped our minds to mention another award in our last post.
Miss Peach gave Emil this wonderful award:

And this is what she said:"...I would like the honor of giving this award to Emil for his talent that he amazed us with while he was a part of our world. Now in heaven, this will look very good on his resume!"

Thank you Miss Peach, we are sure Emil is very very proud!

Lots Of Thank Yous

Thank you everybody who came and participated in Emil's Wake. We very much appreciated it and were very touched. We will come by in the next few days to personally thank you all for being such wonderful friends.

We have some catching up to do. Already in May we got the 'Totally Hip Award' from wildcatsthree. This is what they said: "...we always enjoy our visits to the Cat Realm because of their creativity and ability to entertain...their world travel and cruises around the blogosphere are a must see." WOW. That is quiet a compliment! Thank you so much Abby, Rosie, Jackie, Gidget and Lola.


In July Castle wrote: "...I think that Storm would have passed this award on to every single cat, creature and human that came by to wish her well on her final journey, and I would like to pass this on to all who have since visited us to make sure me and my meowmies are OK...so we pass this on to all of you!" Thank you Castle, we humbly accept this in honor of the wonderful Furry Fighter Storm - we will never forget you and always love you!


And Samantha and Mr. Tigger gave us the Arte y Pico Award.

We Are Starting The New Year With Awards!

Thank you Jimmy Joe to start our year in the best possible way: by getting an award!!!
Jimmy gave us the So Special Award "because they spread good karma around" - how much better can life get???

We like to give this award to some cats that are very special themselves:
First my dear boyfriend Ruis. He is the most special cats of all and the best boyfriend a cat can have! He is caring and loving, multi-talented and beautiful, and always humble about it!
Then to our dear friend Sassy. With her idea of CCSI she started one of the most amazing endeavors the cat blogosphere has seen so far! It takes a very special cat to come up with an idea like that and then MAKE IT WORK!
And to our friends Opus and Roscoe. They moved to Italy so their human servant wouldn't feel lonely, they organize raffles to help others and they are the backbone of CCSI, writing, acting, co-producing and graphic-designing.
All of these cats are very special - as in my opinion is every cat and especially those who blog! - and I am very glad and happy to give them this award as those four especially have grown very close to me in the last weeks through the production of CCSI.

Furthermore our dear friend Sassy gave us the "Life Is Like Hell Without Friends Award" back on December 20 - but I never posted about it -
Thank you Sassy, good friend!


We would like to pass this award on to Tyler - our very good friend who gave us the session with the animal communicator when we were in need of it but could not afford it! We will never forget acts of kindness like that one!
