Awwww. Mommies Dad came home Friday, he is having problems walking and getting around. Hopefully PT will get him back being mobile. Thanks for asking..Your BL Monte
What a great photo memory of you and Anastasia snuggling together! It made me a little sad, then I remembered that Anastasia is shining down on me right now.
Oh, Karl my furriend, that is a purreshus photo. thankies so much fur sharin' it with us. I know you miss Ana so so so so so much. We miss her, too, and we Ballicai love you and send you lots of snuggles.
What a wunnderful sister Ana was to you, and what a wunnerful bruther you were to her.
Uh, oh, that is bringing tears to our mom's face. She's been awfully teary lately.
Karl, we meant to tell you that Mom bought a DVD of the classic movie Anastasia the other day. It was calling to her from a bargain bin at a drugstore. She doesn't usually buy DVDs (usually just rents), but this one just caught her eye, and she had to have it. It was made in 1956 (the year our dad was born) and starred Ingrid Bergman and Yul Brenner. Quite the classic. Mom watched it last night. It made her wonder how you all pronounced Anastasia. Did you pronounce it with a Russian-like accent with the end like "stass-se-uh," rather than "staje-yuh?"
Oh, and about our deck. Mom had to clear it off because she was getting it power washed. The plants and furniture are scattered throughout the yard and under the trees right now. The contractors are supposed to return Monday or Tuesday to re-stain it. We don't like the emptiness so early in the season. Usually it's the end of October before the deck is partially cleared.

It is so unreal that we only have memories. Sometimes we forget and we expect it is Ralph making the noise in the little cathouse from scratch pole.
You all are having the same feelings, I think. We are thinking of you too! Hugs & Purrrs --
