Happy Birthday Emil

You didn't quiet make it to your first birthday Emil, which would have been today, but we will celebrate your life, even if it was short, and always love you.

P.S. we are in the process of visiting everybody who came by but it will take a few days to reach all of you. So bear with us - if we haven't been by your blog yet, we will be shortly!

Sad News

With very broken hearts we have to inform you that Emil is gone.
He was last seen Saturday, June 21 in the morning and never came home.
Unfortunately in our environment that means that he has crossed to the bridge with the help of either coyotes, bobcats, rattlers, or owls. We have very few neighbors (who all know us) and no garages to be locked in.
We know that some of you don't understand why we are not indoor cats in such a dangerous environment but we all came out of the desert and hate to be locked up. We are glad that our staff does not try to make us indoor cats, even if they would rather have us save 24/7.
The maid is back but she and the butler are heart broken. We try to comfort them as good as we can and take comfort ourselves in the fact that Emil had the best of lives, enjoying every minute of it.

Karl Is Back! Still No Maid...

Karl is finally back from his travels! First the honeymoon (we still do not know where they went!) and then his visit with his husband Ruis in The Netherlands. We are very happy to have him here again!
But we still can't blog or visit because the maid is not back....
So we tried to send her a message. We wanted to spell out "We miss you" but we ran into technical difficulties......

Surprise: Karl In The Netherlands

The maid is still gone. We are still confined to a life without blogging.
But Karl is back from his honeymoon and will be visiting his husband Ruis for the next few days!
Word on the street has it that they will arrive there Friday 13......

A Month Without Blogging....

The maid who is helping us with all the blogging stuff will be gone for the month of June.
The nerve!!!!
She is traveling with Dicky Duck in Europe and we have to suffer the consequences...


Might as well make the best out of a bad situation, right?

Karl is still on his honeymoon... BUT:
come back here on June 12th
and we will have a surprise for you.

A few of you have asked where Karl and Ruis will reside now. They will stay at their respective blogs, Karl here, Ruis at Kattenpraat, and use their joint blog for occasional adventures and events. Just like before.
