WCB - The Snake Stole The Rabbit!

Can you believe it! I had caught a rabbit, and after nibbling a bit I left the rest for later.
And the big bad snake came by and stole it!!!
Good thing Anastasia is at the races in Ascot - she tries to play with these snakes because she thinks the rattle is a toy! Gave the maid an almost heart attack several times already!
I will restrict myself to raw beef, shrimp, butter and croissants for the rest of the weekend.

Almost forgot: Dragonheart that wonderful kitten whose birthday is coming up this Wednesday is hosting the Weekend Cat Blogging! Thanks Dragonheart!

Oh my goodness! How dare the snake steal your rabbit! Scary too - it looks like that snake could swallow a cat. Stay safe!

WHOA! Now that would have me rethinking my love of attacking snakes! Mom thinks this is a cool picture because she's fascinated with nature and that kind of stuff. Me? I'll stick to me cat food and treats. I prefer to hunt moles anyway! Again, all I can say is WOW!

This picture fascinates me! Here in my new NC forest back yard we have LOTS of bunnies. I was chasing a few this week. And we have LOTS of snakes! Mosaic Lady has seizures when she sees me trying to play with them and she runs out to scoop me up and home confine me for as long as I will allow her. It never occurred to me to mix the two together. I'm going to meditate on this all weekend.

How impolite of that snake to steal your rabbit. Somebody ought to teach him some matters... a bigger, more polite snake, perhaps? *giggle*

Be careful, Karl and Anastasia! That snake looks a bit grumpy to me.

Oh that's horrible. How did the snake catch the poor rabbit. He must've stalked and used his camouflage - you gotta stay away from those snakes - they can be real bad!

I was once a servant to a cat named Nasty Nattie. One day I saw her playing with something in the front yard, and I went out to see if I could be of assistance. As I got closer, I saw that Nasty Nattie had a small rattle snake in her mouth. And the tail end was still rattling. Yikes!!!

As my good friend Keanu would say, 'Whoa!'... is that for real? Awesome! I don't get why the snake eats the rabbit's furs, though. They would make the meaty goodness taste all furry. Please don't fight Mr Snake!

Yikes!!! I have seen a hawk attack a birdie but a snake eating a bunny? Wow.

We don't have a fancy picture thingy to do the wig stuff.

Wow! More things we have in common. I used to hunt bunnies. I'd bring them home and eat them in what Mom and Dad called my "kill zone," behind the air conditioner unit. I rarely killed for sport because I would EAT my kills. Next time you need to eat it before some snake can get it. Our mom thought that snakes only ate live animals, but I guess she was wrong.

Wow, that is one scary snake! We like watching the bunnies but we've never seen a snake. Our Lady would freak out if she saw that in our backyard!
