Karl says

I am overwhelmed!
Thank you so much everybody for your wonderful and concerned comments about my encounter with the
Bobcat, it makes my heart swell to realize how many wonderful friends I found in this short time that I am in this wonderful community!
Loud Purrrrrrrrrs to all of you!

I live out in the Sonoran Desert, and there is abundant wildlife around, including Bobcats (yes, plural!) and rattlesnakes (Anastasia has scary encounters with those as she thinks they are toys...).

But I was an outside cat all my life and would feel like I am in prison if I couldn't go out anymore. I did convince the maid - who was toying with the thought of us being inside cats because of the dangers outside - to go for a compromise: we only go out during the day.
O.k. once in a while we are not thinking and let the genes get the better of us and just don't come in in the evening. The maid and the butler don't sleep well at those occasions....

Thank you all again, we are very glad and honored to have found such wonderful friends!

Karl,
I am starting see what you mean, my momma takes me out on my harness almost daily and then I don't like to come back in so I try to escape if she opens the door, sigh but she always catches me.

Your Friend,
Ali

Stay safe Karl! Those Bobcats sound scary. I think I am glad I am an indoor-only cat. I like going outside on my harness or in my stroller, but I'm always fully supervised, so I don't have to worry about being hurt.
